Flower Printable Book : Color Emergent Reader for Spring
The sweet flower printable book is great for emergent readers. Kids can learn color words as they read the simple, predictable text. The checklist on the last page of the flower book serves as a great review or can be used as a flower scavenger hunt.
Today I have a free flower printable book for you. The little emergent reader book combines simple repetitive text and colors. I think they might be a great addition to your flower, garden, or spring-themed units and lesson plans.
Learn Color Words
The little flower books are easy to assemble and print four per page. Kids will enjoy learning color words as they color the images.
Flower Checklist
I really like the checklist that is included on the last page. It can serve as a nice review of the previous pages, or you can print and use the page separately.
Flowers Around the Neighborhood
Provide some checklists, small clipboards, and crayons for an exciting outdoor activity. Challenge kids to find different colors of flowers on the playground, in the park, or on a walk around the neighborhood. Send them on a flower scavenger hunt. You can even send the little page home and encourage kids to find the colorful flowers with their parents.
