But, don’t just use the books in November. You can use them year-round.
How to Assemble Your Printable Thanksgiving Book
I enjoy making all kinds of learning games and activities for kids. I don’t mind spending time constructing activities that can be used over and over again. However, I never really enjoyed assembling emergent readers. I just didn’t like all the copying, cutting, collating, and stapling. That’s why I created these easier-to-assemble emergent readers.
The little books print 4 per page. To assemble you just need to print, place a set in a pile, staple the edges, and cut it into 4 separate readers. Check out the video below to see a quick tutorial. It will really help you if you are a visual learner
The Thanksgiving Book Is Perfect for Your Literacy Center
When you download the little book you will see that it includes a cover and 6 pages. Print them all, or only print some. The pages include simple, repetitive text…perfect for little learners.
I also included a page without illustrations. Kids can customize it with their own pictures and/or words. You can even print multiple copies of this page and eliminate the other pages to let kids customize their entire book. This could be a great keepsake for parents.
