How to Delight with Free Printable Valentines Day Cards for Kids
Here are some free printable Valentines Day cards for kids. The best part…….the card includes a little gift that is NOT candy! Add a finger light, a glow stick, or a little flashlight for loads of fun.
Are you looking for cute ideas for the big day of LOVE? I enjoy making these printable Valentine’s Day cards for kids because they are more creative than those you can buy at the store. I also like to include a non-food gift with my cards.
Here is a card that I designed for my son a couple of years ago. I came up with the idea after watching a boy playing with little finger lights. It was the first time I had ever seen finger lights, and I loved how excited he was while playing with them.
If you don’t have finger lights, you can also attach glow bracelets, glow necklaces, glow sticks, or little flashlights instead. Let me show you how you can make your own original cards for Valentine’s Day.
Print and Cut the Cards
The first thing that you will need to do is print the cards onto card stock. The printable document includes four different colors of cards. You can print a variety, or print a single color. Click the link below and fill out the form so that I can send you the printable cards.

Now, grab scissors and cut out the cards on the dotted lines.
Complete Your Original Valentines for Kids
Attach a little finger light to each card with tape. If you are looking for finger lights there is an affiliate link for the finger light that I used at the bottom of this page. In addition to Amazon, I have also purchased the lights in novelty stores like USToy. Disclaimer: WARNING – the finger lights are small and can present a choking hazard. Small parts are not for children under 3 years.
After attaching the lights you need to sign the cards. Now, they are ready to give to your favorite little people. Watch their little faces light up when they see them.
