How to Use These Free Printable Easter Activities for Pre-Writing Practice

Here are some great printable Easter activities that will help your kids work on developing handwriting skills. Kids can trace a variety of lines on these free Easter egg- pre-writing practice pages.

Pre-Writing Activities

Pre-writing activities can provide kids with an opportunity to strengthen their grasp in preparation for forming proper letters.  Here are some Easter Egg Pre-Writing Practice Pages that will help kids practice creating a variety of types of lines.

Print off the four practice pages, laminate them for durability and you are ready to go.

Fine Motor Activities

After laminating the sheets, kids can trace the dotted line designs on each Easter egg using a crayon, dry erase crayon, or dry erase marker.  Many kids enjoy “decorating” the eggs.  The Easter eggs contain circles, slight curves, zig-zags, and wavy lines.  In addition to tracing the dotted lines, kids can draw additional decorations.  You can also use the pages as playdough mats.
