Playdough Activities for Fall
I love to gather different thematic materials for kids to use for creating and playing. When I was a kid, I didn’t have a lot of toys, so I had to get very creative with what I could find around the house and yard. I had a blast creating things from sticks, flowers, fabric, etc.
Today, I gathered a bunch of materials together to create a fun fall-themed playdough tray. This activity will work well for many of your fall themes from pumpkins to Halloween to Thanksgiving. So, if you are looking for some playdough activities for fall be sure to read on.
If your kids can’t share supplies, don’t worry. You can use the ideas below to create individual playdough kits for your kids.
I added several links at the bottom of this post to help you find materials faster. Just an FYI….the links are affiliate links. Here’s how it works….I may earn a small portion of your purchase, but you will not be charged an additional fee when you purchase from the link.

Why Add Number Cards to Your Fall Playdough Tray?
Do you want to add some math or literacy learning opportunities? Add number cards or letter cards to the container. The number cards pictured here are part of the fall tree bundle from my store. Kids can work on number and letter formation by making the numerals or letters from the materials. They can also work on counting when they make number sets with the materials.
Maybe your kids will make games or number trees. The possibilities are endless. They will have a blast playing with the materials.
Do you have any additional material ideas for playdough activities for fall? I would love to hear about them.
